Contributions and Donations

Description

We appreciate your contribution to the ongoing work of this ministry. All ministers and staff of Shield of Victory International serve in a strictly volunteer capacity. Therefore, no portion of any contribution, donation or charitable gift is ever used to compensate those working with this ministry or any affiliate, Instead, contributions are used to cover modest organizational/operational costs and the actual work of this ministry and its affiliates including, but not limited to: tools, resources, curriculum, training and reference materials. We may also use your contribution or donation to help others by redistributing those funds to organizations who do the work (see. Matthew 25:31-46) with no or low overhead or to those in need directly.

• We will receive your donation or contribution for the work of this ministry according to how to the Lord leads you. We do not ask for, nor do we receive “tithes” or “offerings” for the reasons below.
• Biblical tithes are to be delivered only to Levites, and to be used only for specific purposes. The church, the local pastor (unless from the tribe of Levi and using the tithe according to Torah), denominational authorities, etc. are not substitutes/surrogates for Levites (who still live to this day).  Thus, it is not appropriate for most churches/ministries to receive the tithe. And for this reason we do not ask for a tithe.  Leviticus 27:30-32, Numbers 18:20-21, Deuteronomy 12:19, Deuteronomy 14:22, Deuteronomy 14:28-29, Malachi 3:1-23

By federal statute, Shield of Victory International is a 501(c)(3) organization, organized and incorporated in the State of Arizona.

Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of the Shield of Victory International. Shield of Victory International will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of Shield of Victory International.

No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.

The Shield of Victory International will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation. The Shield of Victory International will provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for gifts received.

Shield of Victory International will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, the Shield of Victory International will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.
